ATC is the most fun a Scout can have in the winter. The adventure starts from the opening and the themes and sub plots that run through the camp make this camp into the high energy and fun camp that ATC is. The Venturers and Scouts get to play, and play, and play. The fantasy is huge and the life of the camp is something to behold. The best way to understand ATC is to go. We can guarantee that your scouts wont regret it. ~HISTORY OF ATC~ A few years ago, Marcel Canisius started holding troop camps for his troop at Carrum Downs. As a bit of a bonus and to add the fun, he decided to theme them with all sorts of mad capped themes. This went on for a few years and all was good, the Carrum Downs troop continued on its merry way. AJ2007 hit and all of a sudden, the leaders from Marcel's jamboree troop decided to get together instead of his Annual Troop Camp. They themed the camp 'Star Wars' and 50 or so scouts had the time of their lives. It was then that the leaders involved, being Marcel, Aldis, Sarah and Linda decided to do it again every year. In 2008 the troops again came together and played up as 'Pirates' at Bell Park. This was followed in 2009 by Medieval Madness and also saw the final piece of the ATC team join. Gremlin, or Chris to his close friends, joined the team and using his background and experience in running large camp activities, was able to bring the whole camp together as a nicely packaged bit of chaos. In 2010, the camp moved to Gilwell Park and amidst the freezing conditions, the camp went off like a firecracker. The final touches on the formation of the camp were done and the activities were greeted with a great deal of enthusiasm as the scouts traveled to a Galaxy far, far, far, far, far, …… you get the idea. 2011 has seen the Camp move to Bay Park as the scouts have gone off on an adventure into the 'Wild Wild West'. 2012 came and ATC travelled to the deepest and darkest corners of Ancient Persia as the camp came alive with 'ARABIAN KNIGHTS, The 12 Quests of Ali Baba'. Arghhhh - Behold 2013 when the Pirates invaded Bay Park for what was another unforgettable adventure. Come, join us for yet another year with a new adventure your scouts will not forget when they are 'Call-ed 2 Duty'
